Christ University is the best institute In India . I sometimes fail to understand why. So here are my reactions upon joining the institute:

Teachers are mediocre, at best: Most of the teachers are either too loud or too soft, most of them read and dictate directly from the books. 80% of the teachers are jaats and are of a rowdy nature and are disliked.

It is more of a school, than a college: In the past 8 months of pursuing BBA here, may parents have been called for thrice. Mostly for low attendance which isnt even that low, mind you. Rules followed here are quite restrictive and unneccessary.

Extra-curricular activites: there is only one club you may join, and it runs on pure politics.

Fests: Christ has the best fest which spans 2 days. christ has a single day, low budget fest. Both of which are not good enough to spend more that an hour in. Waste of resources, if you ask me.

Infra: The infrastructure is in a rather sorry state, walls are wet, railings are flimsy, washrooms smell bad. A new geate built for easy access to the institute is closed for students, increasing distance to be walked to classes. The canteen is a small dingy room located in the middle of an uneven ground with no shade whatsoever, for all the 3 institutions run inside the campus.

Well, that is all for the flaws of the institute, everywhere you go will have some flaws or the other which is quite alright. So, now the good things about the institute:

Not all teachers are pathetic, some are really good and some not-so-good but most of them are good and a decent. A few are bad and they really get to you. But its just one semester. Also, the teachers in the first semester are more strict to keep the students in hand. After that, it gets slack.

Though classrooms are bad but most of them are decent enough and have projectors fitted to aid learning and presentations.

There are plenty of places to hang out while on bunks. Plenty of small and large grounds to sit and chat with friends. There are also 2 badminton courts that you can make use of.

Apart from having places to relax inside the campus, here are plenty of places outside to pass time. There is the Koramangala park, the forum mall and many, many small and large eateries nearby. So a good meal during the break is just a 2 minute walk away!

The college being centrally located is an added benefit in itself. So, a trip to MG Road is never too long.

Also, the placements offered in this institute are good. At least, that is what seniors told me`
